Ballad of the Weavers is a show that combines music and monologues to tell the tale of three generations of the Weaver family. The story follows five characters and the effects their choices have on their own lives and the lives of their loved ones. The show's soundtrack album is currently in production and the show made its stage debut at the 2015 Chicago Fringe Festival. River Rising

Harmony that hits a sweet spot can take a singer to another time and place. Such was the case the first time Megan Deiger and Tim Hazen sang together. Transported by the power of harmony, the Chicago based singer-songwriters formed the duo River Rising. The band has played in and around Chicago in such venues as Schubas, The Hideout, City Winery, and  Bottom Lounge. The band has headlined as well as supported both local and national touring bands. In addition to its strong presence in the Chicago music scene, River Rising is an active contributor to the local theater and storytelling communities. The band has performed sets at Chicago's Here's the Story, Real Talk Live, Story Sessions, and The Bucket Show. The duo composes and performs the original score for the storytelling show and WBEZ podcast PleasureTown. The duo's first EP, released March 1, 2014, is available for download on Bandcamp and iTunes.

She Can't Wait

She Can't Wait is Megan's first set of studio recordings. Engineered and produced by Lou Carlozo in 2012, the album centers on love, both lost and found.
